About Us WHAT: Team tennis is a fun, yet competitive, approach to tennis that combines boys and girls on teams to compete in singles, doubles, and "team mixer" format. Total games will be calculated to determine winning team. Every player will receive a team t-shirt to be worn at matches. There will be an end of season party with food and trophies. WHY: The concept of team tennis emphasizes fun, competitive team play, team spirit, sportsmanship, and love of the game. USA Team Tennis is sponsored by the USTA and is becoming one of the fastest growing youth programs in the United States. WHO: Players must be 10 - 18 years old to participate in this league (exceptions will be made if child can meet rating standards.) The league is designed for all levels of play. WHEN: Teams will compete in the fall for six weeks beginning September 12th, 2010. Each team will practice once a week at a local location to be announced.
